      Hi!
We are renting 1 huge single bedroom, with a double bed, in a beautiful big flat (more than 100 sq. m.) near the beautiful area of Colosseum/Monti in a ancient and typical Roman building.
The flat is in Via Merulana, probably the most beautiful street in Rome, just beside the world-famous Colosseum, the beautiful Santa Maria Maggiore Church and the trendy Rione Monti, the most typical and beautiful area of Rome, full of cool bars, vintage shops, ethnic restaurants, and much more.
The single room available is REALLY big (20 sq. m.!), with a double bed, a desk, a wardrobe, bookshelves, sheets, cover, etc. and a big window.
If you want we can send a video of the room, and as well of the rest of flat, building and neighbourood.
The room is very quiet (no noises from the street=good sleeps! Which unfortunately is unfrequent in Rome).
In the apartment there is also a big nice living room, with comfy sofas, and LED-TV, to eat and spend the time together. Then there's a bathroom with also a bathtub, there's a kitchen with a huge fridge and two ovens (electric and gas), there's a washing machine, etc.
There's no problem if during your stay you are gonna have some friends visiting you, and also we have some spare matresses for them.
There's also a nice balcony with many flowers, and a huge terrace on the top of the building with an amazing view on Rome
The apartment is in a very beautiful historic and typical roman building!

And all the neighbours are really nice and friendly.
No matter if you're a student or a worker, cause we are just looking for nice, friendly and responsible people
We also usually like an 'international' atmosphere, 'cause is also nice to spend a good time together learning each other language!
In the flat there are 4 bedrooms for 4 people in total living in the flat. We are: an Italian boy (studying, working and playing guitar in a rock band), a English girl (she as well was doing Erasmus and decided to stay in Rome to live and work), another English girl (she is in Erasmus), and a Dutch girl (she is doing a internship).
We all had quite a lot of experience living with other people and never had any problems, so we think we can safely say that we're fairly easy to live with and help you enjoy your time in Rome
Since having a good atmosphere between the flatmates is very important for us, we always have respect to each other both for cleaning the common spaces (living room and kitchen) and being quiet when someone is sleeping or just resting, but we also like to do many things together in the weekends, like dinners, drink a glass of wine in the living room or in the terrace, watch a film/a series/a football game, going out to some bar, etc.

One of the best thing of the flat is that is VERY WELL CONNECTED WITH BASICALLY EVERYTHING IN ROME!
      You can go walking to:
      - Termini train station in 5 minutes, where there's also the hub for A and B line, so you are basically connected with the whole city and airports.
      - Cavour metro station in 5 minutes, which is in the B line.
      - Manzoni metro station in 2 minutes, which is in the A line.
      - Piazza Vittorio metro station in 2 minutes, which is in the A line.
      - Rione Monti in 5 minutes, a beautiful typical roman area full of pubs and shops.
      - Colosseum in 5 minutes, and it's big park just beside.
      - Supermarket Despar in 1 minute (just in front of the flat), or Supermarket Conad or Discount Todis in 3 minutes, or many other supermarkets and small markets with typical food from all over the world.
      - Many different kinds of restaurants, all along the street Via Merulana.
      - Villa Celimontana (beautiful) park, near Colosseum, in 15 minutes walking.
      - Gym "Santa Maria", with a huge swimming pool, in just 2 minutes, or Gym "Cus", in just 20 minutes walking or 5 minutes with tram number 3.
      - To go to SAPIENZA University you can easily take tram number 3 in front of the flat, that takes literally 5 minutes, or the bus 649 that takes 5 minutes, or you can simply walk for 20 minutes.
      - To go to ROMA3 University you can just take the metro of the B line in Colosseum station and then get off after 3 stops in Garbatella station.
      - To go to the LUMSA University or near the VATICAN you can take the metro of the A line in Vittorio Emanuele station (2 minutes away) and then get off after 6 stops (more or less 15 minutes) in Ottaviano station.
      - To go to LUISS University you can just walk 5 minutes to Termini station, and then take the bus number 90 and then after 5 minutes get off at the stop "Nomentana/Torlonia".
      - To go to TRASTEVERE you can just walk 5 minutes to Termini station, and then take the bus H, and then after 10 minutes get off at the stop "Sonnino/San Gallicano".
      - To go to TOR VERGATA University you can take the metro of the A line in Manzoni station (2 minutes away) and then get off at Anagnina, the last metro station.
      - To go to F.A.O. you can simply walk for about 15/20 minutes or just take tram 3 or 8 that brings you there in 5 minutes.
Anyway there are also many other buses to go everywhere in the city, and many night buses for when you come back home after midnight!
Just check www.atac.roma.it to find the right bus/tram/metro route from Via Merulana to everywhere!

The single rooms cost just 530 per month (which is very cheap for this area!), plus only 60€ each for ALL bills (so that you already know for sure how much you are gonna spend every month, without any 'surprises' as it happens in many other apartments), that is internet wifi, electricity, gas, water, rubbish tax, and more over 'CONDOMINIO', which is an expensive tax (especially in the center) to pay in all buildings in Rome for all the building works and cleanings.
If you want to enjoy your best time in Rome living in its most beautiful, safe and connected area, without fear of weird or annoyng flatmates or landlord (which unfortunately both are quiet frequent in Rome!) then you should come live with us
Sorry for this quite long message, hope you didn't fall asleep :)
